Cheese Tastings

Become cheese connoisseur for the evening. Try fresh, new flavors, before they are released on the market. Enjoy some one-on-one time with our staff and cheesemakers. You’ll even get a behind-the-scenes tour to understand our business.

After the tour, you’ll learn the art of tasting by sampling seven different cheeses. Then we’ll turn you loose to blind taste ten cheeses and enjoy three local pairings.

Dairy Farm Tours

Happy Cows make Udderly Delicious Cheese – and now you can finally meet the fabulous “ladies” who provide the milk for our award-winning cheese.

You can also Purchase tickets in-store on the day of the tour.

Learn how to make your own farm fresh Burrata, an Italian Recipe for Mozzarella, from Heather Kohler, wife of our farmer and cheese maker. The class includes detailed instruction and helpful tips that you can easily repeat at home. Plan on the class lasting about 2 hours.

Jalapeno Juustoleipa

Our Jalapeño Juustoleipa is as flavorful as the original with a Mexican twist.  Made with our premium Holstein cow milk, and pressed with natural jalapeno, this cheese is meant to be fried, grilled or baked. Serve it as an appetizer, or melt it on your gourmet sandwich or burger.

Providing others with a memorable experience is at the heart of Heber Valley Artisan Cheese, a small family dairy farm and creamery nestled in the quaint community of Midway, Utah. For nearly 100 years the Kohler family has been producing premium milk – pure, rich & creamy – to delight their consumers. In 2011, the family built a new creamery and began using their farm’s milk to handcraft and age artisan cheese.
