Heber Valley's Tomato Basil Cheddar features a centuries-old culinary classic: sun-dried tomato and fresh basil-- combined with our world-class Holstien Cow milk for a flavor you won’t forget. Pressed with this timeless duo, it’s like stepping into your own Italian countryside villa.

What makes Heber Valley Cheddar so special?
The story of our cheese starts with our Swiss ancestors, who migrated to the Heber Valley in the 1830's. They purchased what is now known as Canyon View Farm, bringing their knowledge of dairy farming to a sleepy town called Midway, Utah. For generations, our family has proudly produced the finest quality Holstein milk and beef.
As the Heber Valley grew, many dairy farms began selling their land. Our farm is one of only two remaining dairy farms in a valley that once hosted over 130.
The legacy of our family and heritage of the farm they have passed on to us means more to us than the dollar amounts offered by developers.
So, in 2011, we opened Heber Valley Artisan Cheese as a way to support the future of our land and farm. Our Holstein cows are proudly milked in a state-of-the-art robotic facility, then the milk makes a short trip over to our creamery where our cheesemakers turn it into some of the best cheese in the world.
We take pride in our farm-to-table Artisan Cheeses, the heritage that they represent, and the bright future that they assure.
And now... back to the cheese!

What can I do with Tomato Basil Cheddar?
Tomato Basil Cheddar starts with our premium milk, and is pressed with sun-dried tomatoes and basil before aging in our Cheese Cave. Our creamy cheddar takes on those classic flavors as it ages, bringing you a taste of Italy from the Heber Valley.
Perfect for snacks, appetizers, entertaining, and cooking!
This makes it a perfect cheese for grazing boards because it offers a flavor profile that is easily built upon. Wow your friends with a charcuterie set up right out of an Italian countryside villa.
Try pairing it with:
- Pepperoni, hard salame, or proscuitto
- Grapes, apples & strawberries
- Crusty italian bread
- Sundried tomatoes, peporochinis, roasted red peppers, olives
- Crackers & grainy mustard
